These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of WorldTrade IQ® (the "Service"), operated by WorldTrade IQ ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

WorldTrade IQ® provides global trade-intelligence tools including product-to-HS classification, aggregate import/export analytics, tariff and landed-cost scenarios, reporting and monitoring. Trade statistics are sourced from third parties such as UN Comtrade (United Nations Statistics Division) and are provided on an "as available" basis, subject to each source's own licence and coverage.

2. Not customs, legal or financial advice

HS classification suggestions, tariff figures and landed-cost calculations are research aids and estimates only. They are not binding customs rulings, legal advice or a guarantee of duty payable. You remain responsible for verifying classifications, rates and eligibility with the relevant customs authority before relying on them.

3. Data accuracy and coverage

We do not create, invent or alter trade records, company names, tariffs or values. Figures reflect what the underlying source reported for the stated period and granularity. Coverage varies by country, source and period; the absence of a record is not proof that trade did not occur. Every result exposes its source, period, coverage and caveats.

4. Acceptable use

You must not: (a) redistribute, resell or publish licensed source data except as expressly permitted by that source's licence and your plan; (b) attempt to access data or accounts you are not entitled to; (c) scrape, overload or reverse-engineer the Service; or (d) use the Service unlawfully. API keys are personal, scoped and revocable.

5. Accounts, plans and credits — no refunds

Certain actions consume credits from your wallet. The credit or cash cost is shown before you confirm a paid action. All sales are final. Fees, credits, subscription payments and one-off (bespoke) reports are non-refundable. Because reports are generated to order from licensed third-party data as soon as payment is received, we do not offer refunds, cancellations or exchanges once payment has been made. Credits are non-transferable. You must accept these Terms at checkout before any payment is taken. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancelling stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, its software and its original analytics are owned by WorldTrade IQ. Underlying source data remains the property of the respective providers and is used under licence. Reports you generate are for your internal business use subject to source licence restrictions.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and we exclude implied warranties. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions taken in reliance on estimates, classifications or third-party data. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Changes and termination

We may update these Terms and the Service. We may suspend or terminate access for breach. You may close your account at any time.
