How WorldTrade IQ works

Timely global trade data to power smarter decisions. Every figure carries its source, period, coverage and caveats — so you can validate leads and align the markets where you do business.

1 · Classify the product

Enter a product, an HS code or a full specification. The engine ranks plausible HS subheadings with reasons, confidence and guided disambiguation — never a silent guess.

2 · Follow the real trade

Query real UN Comtrade import/export records across 170+ reporting countries and 200+ partner economies by partner, HS code and period — value, weight, quantity, growth, share and unit value.

3 · Shipment & company enrichment

Where a licensed shipment feed is connected: bill-of-lading detail, container type/size, carrier, LCL/FCL, TEUs, country of origin and standardised company names.

Aggregate statistics are refreshed on each reporter's official release cadence. Shipment-level enrichment (e.g. U.S. maritime bill-of-lading within ~24h of Customs receipt) activates only when a lawfully licensed shipment source is connected — WorldTrade IQ never fabricates named-company records.

The source, period and coverage caveats on every figure are what won our compliance team over — we can defend any number that goes into a board paper.
Daniel Osei · Trade Compliance Manager

As a freight forwarder we live and die by lane intelligence. The country-to-country breakdowns help us anticipate volume shifts before they hit our bookings.
Marta Novak · Operations Director, Logistics

The landed-cost view finally lets our commercial team quote with confidence — duty and freight included — instead of estimating on the back of an envelope.
